Description

This is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed with an external plaster finish of ashlar. The roof is covered with red plain tiles. The original layout comprised a gabled crosswing to the right, with a catslide extension. A single gabled dormer window is present on the main range. The house is one storey in height with attics. The first floor has two windows with C17 and C18 leaded casements, while the ground floor features three matching windows. A porch with half-glazed double doors, a moulded frieze, and fluted pilasters is situated to the left of the crosswing. A brick chimney stack is notable for the three attached diagonal shafts.
