Description

No. 11, known as Dolphins, is a small house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It exhibits an exposed timber frame with brick nogging, all painted white. A substantial red brick chimney stack is located on the south gable end, featuring two coped offsets and corbelled caps. The house is arranged over one storey and attics. The ground floor has two 20th-century leaded casement windows. Two small gabled dormers are present, each containing 19th-century casements. Inside, the house has two bays with chamfer-stopped spine beams with run-out stops, and a clasped purlin roof with straight braces. The south gable end of the roof shows evidence of blocked mullioned windows.
