Description

21 and 21A Market Place is a late 17th century or early 18th century house that has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows. The building was re-fronted in the early 19th century using yellow stock brick. It has a high-pitched roof covered with renewed tiles, which includes two square dormers. The house boasts a deep, original, moulded wood eaves cornice with modillions. The first-floor windows have gauged, flat brick arches, although the center window has been blocked. The ground floor has a modern shop. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 17 to 23 (odd).
