Description

The premises occupied by Uptons Ltd is a small house located at the rear of Nos 30 and 32 Market Place, dating from the 17th century. It is a two-storey building with two windows beneath a high-pitched, tiled roof. The first floor has a deep overhang supported by three arched braces. On the first floor, there are 18th-century sash windows set in near-flush, box frames. The ground floor features a modern window on the left and a Yorkshire sash window on the right. The ground floor also displays square timber framing, which is partly filled with brick and partly with decorative pargetting.
