27 Market Place is a 16th-century building that was originally part of the Moot House, sharing a high-pitched, tiled roof with No 25. The structure has two storeys and features one window. The first floor is plastered with mock timber framing applied and includes one sash window set in a slightly projecting box frame. The ground floor has been altered to accommodate a modern shop.
