Description

The barn at Amwell Farm, located about 15 meters southeast of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a tall base made of painted brick, with tarred weatherboarding. The north elevation includes a central gabled porch, and the roof is covered with plain tiles. Inside, the barn has a three-bay layout with mid-height purlins and diagonal braces supporting the tie beams. There are double doors facing the lane.
