Description

Amwell Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been cased in red brick in the late 18th century. The building features a plain tile roof with three ridge chimney stacks and is one storey high with attics. The front of the farmhouse includes three timber-framed roughcast casement dormers and three segmental-headed casements on the ground floor. It has dentilled brick eaves and a vitrified brick lower course. There is an early 19th-century one-window addition on the right side. At the rear left, there is a single-storey lean-to from the 17th century, which has an exposed timber frame with brick infill.
