Description

This is a 17th-century barn located 15 metres southwest of Astridge Farmhouse in Gustardwood Common, Wheathampstead. The barn features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, with a painted brick base and a plain tile roof. It has a gabled entrance facing the farmyard and consists of five bays. The structure includes clasped purlins, with collar braces supported by queen struts.
