Description

A range of barns, now used as stables, dating from the early 18th century. The structure comprises three blocks arranged in a long range. The left-hand block is a single-storey barn with double stable doors flanked by windows. It has a queen post roof. The central block is a two-storey stable with a central stable door, flanked by windows. The upper floor is a hay loft, and it has a three-bay queen strut roof. The right-hand block is a longer two-storey barn of five bays, also with a queen strut roof. Double doors are located on the left side, with an open bay on the right. The buildings have timber frame construction, plastered walls, and plain tile roofs. The range is included on the list for its group value with Nomansland Farmhouse.
