Statue. C18, English, probably by John Nost (d.1729) after group c.1560 by Giambologna now in V and A Museum. Lead figures, stone base, limestone plinth. A lifesize figure standing astride a crouched figure holding him by the hair with left hand and with upraised right hand. Tall stone plinth with moulded base, ovolo moulded fielded panel on each face, necking, and overhanging moulded cornice. An original feature of the garden layout of 1720s.
