6/117 Barn at entrance to - Mangrove Hall Farm

GV II

Barn. C17, brick walls in stages in C18 and C19. Timber frame dark weatherboarded on upper part of W wall, replaced by red brick at E side and N end, and by chequered red and black brick on lower part of W wall and S end. Steep roof, now of corrugated asbestos. A long tall barn facing W onto approach drive. Stable door near S end of this front, and large door at N end. Interior has jowled posts surviving on W side, and C17 clasped-purlin roof. Included for group value.
