Description

This barn, located about 40 meters west of Gannock Farm House, is likely from the 18th century. It features a timber frame supported by a flint and brick base, and is weatherboarded. The roof is made of corrugated iron with half hips. The structure consists of six bays, with the third bay from the house containing a low gabled midstrey facing the yard, flanked by lean-tos, and a gabled projection at the far end. There are double doors opposite the midstrey. Inside, the barn has arched braces connecting jowled posts to tie beams, a clasped purlin roof, braces in the walling, and arched braces in the midstrey.
