Description

This milestone, located approximately 150 metres north of York Way in Royston, Hertfordshire, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a bull nose top. The stone is inscribed and painted black, reading 'B & K; ROYSTON 1 LONDON 39'. This milestone is part of a series and is the 39th milestone from Shoreditch church.
