Description

The building is an early to mid-19th century former United Reformed Church, constructed of yellow brick in a Neo-classical style. The gabled front features four tall Doric pilasters, with a central round arched panel. The arch springs from simplified entablatures above the pilasters, with flanking panels. The central doorway has a panelled two-fold door, an oblong fanlight with geometrical glazing bars, and a cambered arch. Above the doorway is a sash window, round arched with glazing bars. The building is part of a group which includes numbers 28 to 36 (even), the yard wall to number 36 and number 36A, numbers 1 and 3 Lower King Street.
