Description
32 Kneesworth Street is a building dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, along with a bracketed cornice. The building stands two storeys tall with a slightly projecting central section. It has three sash windows on each floor, all with glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches. The central window on the first floor is set within an elliptically arched panel. The doorway, located in the centre, has a five-panelled door, which includes two glazed panels and one fielded panel, topped by an oblong fanlight with geometrical glazing bars. This doorway is sheltered by a porch supported by slim ribbed Doric columns.
The building is part of a group that includes Nos 28 to 36 (even), the yard wall to No 36, and No 36A, as well as the former United Reformed Church and Nos 1 and 3 Lower King Street.
