Description
Yew Tree House is a 17th-century building that has been altered over time. It is constructed of red brick, with some blue brick headers, and features a tiled roof with four gabled casement dormers. The house has two storeys and attics, with a stucco band on the first floor. There are eight sash windows that include border glazing bars and cambered arches. The entrance has a six-panelled door with an oblong fanlight set in a reveal, surrounded by a stucco frame with Doric pilasters. To the right, there is a recessed lower wing from the 19th century that has one window. Yew Tree House is part of a group that includes Nos 28 to 36, the yard wall to No 36, and No 36A, along with the former United Reformed Church and Nos 1 and 3 Lower King Street.
