Description

Yew Tree Cottage is an early 18th-century building that has been partly rebuilt. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with old tiles. The cottage stands two storeys high and has one flush sash window with glazing bars. The enlarged ground floor window consists of three lights and has a soldier arch above it. This building is included for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos 28 to 36 (even), the yard wall to No 36, and the former United Reformed Church, along with Nos 1 and 3 Lower King Street.
