Description

This milestone, located approximately 15 metres south of Bassingbourn Barracks, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a bull-nosed top. The milestone is inscribed and painted black with the text 'B, ROYSTON 3, LONDON 41'. It is part of a series of milestones, marking it as the 41st milestone from Shoreditch church.
