Description

A row of cottages, now two dwellings, dating to the late 16th or early 17th century, with later 19th-century alterations. The cottages are timber-framed and have been plastered, with a tarred brick plinth. They have plain tiled and slated roofs. Originally likely a three-unit plan, the building was modified in the 19th century with the addition of a two-storey, single-bay section to the south. There are four stacks, one of which is original and features two octagonal shafts. The roof has four casement gabled dormer windows. The ground floor has windows of varying sizes, a 19th-century door, and a boarded door. The south extension includes two twelve-paned hung sash windows and a glazed door.
