Description

Number 10 is a cottage with an attached barn located on the west side of Old North Road in Bassingbourn-cum-Kneesworth. The cottage dates from the 17th and 18th centuries and has undergone some later alterations. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure, while the barn is weather boarded. The building has a thatched roof and a rectangular planned ridge stack. It consists of two storeys, with a one-storey attic and a single-storey long east-west range. The main entrance faces south and there are two doors along with four ground floor casement windows, two casement dormer windows, and one first floor casement window.
