Description
Parknasilla is a house dating from the early to mid 17th century. It has a timber frame that is rendered and features a thatched roof. The building consists of three cells and has one storey with an attic. The entrance is located between the centre and left bays, featuring a plank door set in a reveal. There is a rendered plinth and a mix of one and two-light flush frame small pane casements scattered throughout. A tile-coped brick projection is situated between the right and centre bays, likely an offset oven extrusion from the stack, with the ridge cap rebuilt in gault brick. The attic has casements on the gable ends. At the rear, there are two horizontal sliding sashes and a two-light dormer. To the right, there is a weatherboarded garage addition, while a one-storey 20th-century addition to the left is not of special interest.
