Description

RUSHDEN SOUTHERN GREEN TL 33 SW (Northwest side) 7/42 No. 3 (Moonshine) 19.12.80 and No. 4 (Stile End) GV II Former house, extended, now 2 dwellings. Mid to late C17, extended C18. Timber frame, all rendered. Thatched roof. Originally 3 bays, 2 cells with a 2 bay addition to left. 2 storeys. No. 3 to right has entrance to left of centre with recessed door. Ground floor 2 light flush frame small pane casements, first floor windows similar but smaller. End stacks, that to right remains external with offsets, part rebuilt, upper part cement rendered, exposed purlins in gable end. No. 4 to left is slightly lower 2 bay addition. Entrance in later brick porch to right, ground floor 3 light flush frame small pane casements, first floor 2 light casements. Roof hipped to left end with end stack in hip. Catslide roof over lean-to addition to far left with plank and muntin door to front. Single light casements on left return. To rear 1, 2 and 3 light casements. Later lean-to addition to rear of No. 3.
