Description
Youngloves Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th century or 17th century, which has been extended and altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and has a thatched roof. The building consists of two cells and three bays, with one storey and an attic.
A central two-storey gabled entrance porch includes a plank door and a three-light casement window on the first floor. To the left, there is a two-light flush frame leaded casement, while to the right, there are three lights. A lean-to addition on the right has a two-light casement with a pointed head. The original right end has a red brick ridge stack, and the entrance is located at this end. The left end has a half-hipped roof with two-light casements. Additionally, there is a 20th-century range added to the rear, which is separately roofed and extends to a taller block at right angles to the left, using similar materials.
