7/17 Barns about 30m E of 8.3.72 Batlers Green House (Formerly listed as Barns at GV II Batlers Green House)

Barns. C16 or C17 altered and extended in C19. Timber frame, part exposed, on brick base. Brick nogging and weatherboarding. Tiled roof, half hipped at far end. 6 or 7 bays, with axis broken. Scattered windows facing house. Brick extension at right angles towards house. Interior: queen struts clasping purlins, curved braces to straight tie beams. Included for group value.
