Description

The Fuller Monument is a chest tomb dedicated to Eliza Fuller, who died in 1709. It is made of ashlar and features a moulded base and a coved cornice. Each side of the tomb has fielded panels. The top slab displays a coat of arms surrounded by a foliate design, along with a lengthy inscription. Eliza Fuller is noted for her contribution to the Free School at Watford. The monument is located about 30 meters west-southwest of the Church of St. James in Bushey.
