Description
The monument to John and Elizabeth Fuller is located approximately 10 metres northwest of the north aisle of the Parish Church of All Saints in Campton. It commemorates John Fuller, who died in 1819, and his wife Elizabeth, who died in 1845, and was erected by their son Christopher. The monument consists of a marble sarcophagus on a base, topped by an urn, which is now damaged. The entire structure stands about 1.5 metres high. The south side features an inscription dedicated to John Fuller, while the north side has an inscription for Elizabeth Fuller. Each end of the monument displays a coat of arms. It also has claw feet, a moulded cornice with antefixae at the corners, and the upper part of the base has vermiculated sides.
