House. C16 with C19 reworkings. Timber framed construction with colourwashed roughcast render, ground floor encased and rebuilt in colourwashed brick. Clay tile roofs. 2-storeyed T-plan building. C19 2 and 3-light casements throughout, except for C20 bow window to SW gable end. Gabled colourwashed brick porch with oak plank door to SE elevation. Multiple ridge stack to cross-wing, 2 external chimney stacks, one very substantial, to NW elevation of main block. Top part of all 3 rebuilt in C19 yellow brick, lower parts of external ones rendered. Single-storeyed lean-to addition to NW. Interior: cross-wing ground floor has moulded beams, the moulding suggesting a first floor jetty at least to the NW. 2 4-centred arched stone fireplaces, one with foliate carving and coat of arms, apparently imported from elsewhere. Flanking one of these some panelled dado, again imported. C18 staircase with paired turned balusters.
