Description

Home Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features colourwashed roughcast render over a structure that is partly timber framed and partly made of brick, topped with clay tile roofs. The original building has a T-shaped plan, with a 19th-century cross-wing on the east side and additional blocks added to the rear in the later 19th century. The house is two storeys high.

On the south elevation, the left-hand original cross-wing juts out at the first floor and has a 19th-century canted bay window at the ground floor. The central block has been extended at the ground floor in the 20th century to align with the gables. All windows are 20th-century replacement casement windows with glazing bars. A substantial rendered multiple ridge stack is located at the junction of the left-hand cross-wing and the central block.
