Description
The Green Dragon Public House is a public house dating from around 1830. It is constructed of painted brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features four bays. The entrance is located in the second bay from the right and includes a porch supported by colonnettes. Above the door is a moulded architrave and a rectangular light. There is a secondary entrance with a bracketed hood. On the ground floor, late 19th-century canted bay windows flank the entrance. These windows have glazing bar sashes with cambered rubbed brick heads and stone sills. The front and gables are topped with a coped parapet. There are chimney stacks to the left of the centre and at the right gable end. Additionally, there are 20th-century lean-to extensions on the right side.
