Description

A barn dating from the 17th century stands opposite the Green Dragon Public House. It is a timber-frame structure, clad with weatherboards and featuring a brick base. The roof is tiled and hipped. The barn has a half-H plan, with several entrances and small windows scattered across its facade. Inside, the roof features queen post construction, with collar beams clasping the purlins. Braces, some curved, extend from lightly jowled posts to the tie-beams; some of the timbers appear to be re-used. Much of the roof is not visible.
