Description
No 3 Green End is a house located in Braughing village, dating from the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is roughcast on a stucco plinth, topped with a steep hipped slate roof and overhanging eaves. The house has a double-pile plan with end chimneys and is raised above the road, facing east. The symmetrical front is two storeys high and consists of three windows. It has flush box sash windows with six-over-six panes. There are five steps leading up to the central door, which is made of moulded stone and has wrought iron handrails that curve down to a wreath. The door itself is a six-panel moulded design with a rectangular fanlight above, flanked by broad fluted pilasters and paired shaped brackets supporting a moulded flat hood.
