Description
Hill House is a house located in Braughing village, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, with some alterations. The exterior is finished in painted stucco and features hipped slate roofs with a plastered soffit to the overhang. The house has two storeys and faces east, displaying a roughly symmetrical front. It includes a central projecting porch and projecting wings on both the right and left sides. The right wing has sash windows on each floor, while the left wing has no openings as it faces south but features two sash windows on each floor. The windows are flush box sash style with moulded surrounds and 6/6 panes. The doorcase features broad fluted pilasters and an open pediment, leading to a six-panel fielded door.
