Description

No 5 High Street is an 18th-century house constructed with a timber frame and finished with plaster, featuring a stucco plinth and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and is two windows wide. To the right of the entrance, there is a door accompanied by a window. The windows are flush box sash types, square in shape, with eight panes in each sash. The lower window has a hood above it. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door set within a reeded doorcase that includes corner blocks and paterae, a plain frieze, and a small moulded flat hood.
