Description
This is an 18th-century barn located about 100 meters northeast of the bridge over the River Mimram. It features a timber frame set on a brick base and is weatherboarded. The roof is half hipped and covered with tiles, and the barn consists of five bays. There is a central gabled midstrey on the south side with double doors, and a lean-to outshut on the left. An opening is situated opposite the midstrey. Inside, the structure includes braces from the posts to the tie beams, all of which are straight, along with angled struts to the lower purlins, collars to the upper purlins, and passing tension braces in the walling.
