Description
No. 8 Church Street is a 18th-century building that features a timber frame, which is plastered, and has a gabled roof covered with old tiles. The ground floor front has been renewed in brick and rendered to match the original style. The building is two storeys high and has one window on the front. The first-floor window is a flush sash with eight panes over eight panes. On the ground floor, there is an early 19th-century recessed sash window in a segmental-headed opening, also with eight panes over eight panes. The entrance consists of a four-panel door, two of which are glazed. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that is stuccoed and has an old tile roof. A flush sash window with six panes over six panes is located on the east side. This corner house is significant in the street views.
