Description
The East Barn at Levens Green Farm, located 2 meters east of the house, is an early 19th-century barn. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded on a red brick sill. The north end wall facing the lane is constructed of red brick adorned with black brick diaper decoration. The barn has a half-hipped slate roof with red ridges. It is a wide-span, four-bay structure that faces west and encloses the courtyard in front of the house. There are double doors on the west side in the second bay from the south. Inside, the barn has curved braces supporting the tie beams of a queen-post roof, with one purlin on each slope.
