Description
The farmhouse at Levens Green Farm dates from the late 17th century or 18th century, with a rear extension from the 19th century and an eastern wing largely from the 20th century. It features a timber frame that is roughcast, topped with a steep old red tile roof. The higher eastern wing is constructed with matching materials. The house is two storeys tall and follows a two-unit central chimney plan, facing north. It has a large 20th-century extension to the east and a gabled 19th-century rear wing at the southwest. The building includes small two-light casement windows and a tall red brick chimney with conjoined square shafts that rise through the front slope of the roof. There is a 19th-century four-panel moulded rear door and triple sash windows. The eastern wing has small paned casement windows and a 20th-century panelled front door, along with a projecting chimney in the eastern gable.
