Description
Nos 11 and 13 Green End are two houses that were originally one house built in the 17th century. The building was gothicized and divided into two separate homes in the mid-19th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered and sits on a high plinth made of knapped flint with brick dressings. The steep red tiled roof has twin gabled projections in the middle of the south side. This picturesque two-storey building is set back from the road on higher ground and faces south. It has a large shared central chimney with diagonal shafts and pierced wavy bargeboards on the gables. The windows include small two-light and three-light bracketed oriel windows with elongated lozenge-shaped panes and small tiled lean-to roofs.
