Description

Nos. 6 and 8 Church Road is a house that was originally two separate dwellings, dating from the early to mid 18th century. It features a timber frame construction with weatherboarding and tiled roofs, comprising three broad bays across two storeys and an attic.

The entrance to No. 8, located on the left, has a gabled hood and includes one bay of two-light small pane casements. To the right, No. 6 has an entrance with a bracketed hood and flanking small pane casements that have moulded surrounds. There is a red brick stack at the right end, which was originally external but is now located on the ridge of No. 4, a building that is not listed. A cross axial ridge stack is positioned to the left of centre, and the left gable end features an attic light.

At the rear, there is a continuous lean-to outshut with a catslide roof, along with a stable door and casement windows.
