Description

This outbuilding, located 2 meters southeast of Number 3 in Braughing village, is a barn that has been converted for domestic use. It dates from the 17th century or earlier. The structure features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, topped with a steep old red tile roof that is half-hipped. The western end, which faces the road, showcases fan pargetting on its lower part. The building is single-storey and rectangular, with a plank door and a centrally inserted chimney. It also includes two small leaded casement windows and narrow windows positioned between the timbers.
