Description

East View Cottage and the adjoining house are two houses that date from the early 18th century, with the northeast wing added in the early 19th century. The buildings have a timber frame covered in roughcast, sitting on a tarred brick plinth. They feature steep old red tile roofs, with a rear lean-to under a catslide roof. The main house is two stories tall and has a two-unit layout, with end chimneys facing south. The parallel rear wing is also two stories and located at the northeast. There are external gable chimneys, three windows on the first floor, and two 20th-century glazed doors. The buildings are included for their group value.
