Description

Apple Tree Cottage is a late 18th-century house located 130 metres north of the Bay Horse Public House. The front and south end are timber-framed and weatherboarded, while the west and north sides are plastered. It has a low-pitched slate roof. The two-storey house features two windows on each floor; these are 2-light flush casement windows with small hoods. A central chimney is present. A lean-to brick garage on the north end is not of particular architectural interest. A single ground floor window is found on the south end, a flush casement with small panes. Access is provided by a 20th-century small glazed rear porch at the southwest corner.
