Description

Somerton House is an early 19th-century timber-framed and plastered house located in Upper Somerton. It stands two storeys high, with two gabled bays that project at the north and south ends, featuring shaped bargeboards. The central section of the house has one window. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A central six-panel door is framed by a doorcase with fluted pilasters and an open pediment. The roof is covered with slate.
