Description
A 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house located in Upper Somerton, built on an L-shaped plan. It is one storey high with attics. The windows are small casements dating to the 20th century, and original 17th-century boarded doors remain. The tiled roof features a central chimney stack with four grouped octagonal shafts restored on a square base. The east gable projects, supported by shaped brackets, and includes a moulded bressummer. The west end of the roof is hipped and incorporates two gabled dormers. The interior retains exposed timber framing.
