5/60 Farmhouse at Swades Farm 700 metres NNW of Watersplace Farm north of B1004 II

Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18. Timber frame weatherboarded. Red pantile roof with 4 courses of tile at the eaves. 3-unit central-chimney plan house facing S. Opposed doors front and back next to fireplace which backs onto a dairy on the E. Parlour at W end has an external gable chimney. Front has a small gabled porch, 2-windows to ground floor and one over the door. 2-light flush casement windows. Outbuildings to rear and east end weatherboarded and formerly thatched, now corrugated iron.
