Description

No. 21 Drury Lane is a house that dates from the 18th century or early 19th century and was extended in a style that matches the original around 1950. It is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a slated gabled roof. The house stands tall at two stories and features a symmetrical front with three windows facing south. The central entrance has a boarded door with a dripboard above it, flanked by flush two-light wooden casement windows. Originally, the house had two windows in length, but a matching bay was added to the right side around 1950. The internal gable chimneys are rendered. This small late 18th-century house has been symmetrically extended and is part of a group of historic houses within the village's Conservation Area.
