Description
The Western Shelter Shed at Bayfordbury Park Farm, located 30 meters southwest of the house, is an early 19th-century structure. It features a timber frame with dark weatherboarding and a steeply pitched roof that is currently covered in corrugated asbestos. The shelter shed has a high, wide-span design with four bays and is open on the south, east, and west sides. It includes curved braces to the wall posts and a straight long tie-beam, with textbook wooden queen-post trusses. The eastern part of the shed is a later addition and is not of special interest.
