Description
Nos. 9, 11, and 13 Parliament Square is a house with ground floor shops, now used as offices. It dates from the mid-19th century, with some remnants of an earlier structure visible inside, and has undergone 20th-century alterations. The exterior features a stucco front with masonry lining and a Welsh slate roof at the front, while the rear has old tiles.
The building is two storeys high. On the first floor, there are two recessed sash windows, with the upper sash having divided glazing and the lower sash being plain glazed. The ground floor has two altered 19th-century closed timber shop windows that include pierced cast-iron ventilators. There is a door to the right of centre set in a chamfered stucco reveal.
Inside, there is timber framing in the rear outshoots, and a cellar beneath the main building with a brick floor and red brick walls. A part brick stair with wood nosings is also present.
