Description

TRING SHIRE LANE SP 90 NW (East side) Hastoe 6/107 Longcroft Farm and - house adjoining on South - II Block of semi-detached estate houses. Late C19 for Rothschild Estate probably by William Huckvale. Red brick with half-timbered upper floor and steep red tile roofs. Symmetrical pair of picturesque estate houses set back from road, facing West. l½ storeys with central shared flat topped dormer and 2-storeys projecting gabled wing at each end. Recessed entrances in centre into half glazed lobbies. Large red brick pilastered chimney central and on outsides of wings. 4-light casement window with small panes and segmental arch to ground floor of each gabled projection, with similar 3-light flush casement over.
