Description
The White Lion Public House is a 17th-century building that has been altered over time. It features a timber-framed rear wall with brick nogging and a colourwashed roughcast front elevation. The roof is covered with old tiles and has two stacks on the ridge, along with two gabled eaves dormers that contain 2-light casements. The building is one storey with an attic and includes a half-glazed door and two small modern bow windows. The southern part of the structure is half of an adjoining cottage, which has been partly demolished, leaving a modern south gable wall. Inside, the pub has ceiling beams and an inglenook fireplace.
